Mandala Wealth Management, LLC ("Mandala") is an independent, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) based in San Francisco, CA.

 

The firm is wholly owned by Jay Liao. Previously, Jay was a financial advisor and portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley, where he managed client assets for individuals, corporate executives, high-net worth individuals, families, and trusts.

 

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Jay served on the investment team for a private, ultra high net worth family office that managed over $1 billion across multi-asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and venture capital.

 

Jay is also the creator and founder of Portfolio Monkey, a financial technology website that was recognized as one of the Wall St Journal's "Best Online Tools for Personal Finance" and Money Magazine's 20 Best Websites.

 

Jay is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.
